Sorry I’ve been a dud lately but I’m busting my butt trying to get some copper projects behind me before the end of May when I have to go back into NM-CO-UT-AZ and work on that book. Yeah, the Field Museum situation has not improved, but at least I have four museum appointments this summer for this new book. I can say the Michigan book will be SO much better. Cannot believe how I dropped the ball on that one.
Anyway, I have a presentation today on the copper trade network and will share the highlights soon, maybe even tonight if I’m still awake when I get back from Evanston. Yeah, it’s at the Evanston Public Library in IL today at 3:30 if you’re in the area and feel like stopping in.
Also hoping next week to film the first in my series of Geez Louise podcasts. They’ll be only 5 minutes each, and hopefully entertaining, on a variety of topics that will astound and amaze (hence the title). I gotta get my acting bug satisfied somehow and no commercials in the offing since the one I filmed in early March. So I’m hoping to present on history topics this way.
